If you decide to change the pricing plan of a course from subscription-based to license-based, existing users using the subscription based license will lose access to the course when the subscription expires. They will need to re-enroll in the course with a new coupon that will have no expiration date (license-based plan).
Every time a user gets dropped out due to a subscription coupon expiration, the user will need to purchase the course with the new pricing plan (licensed-based).
If you decide to change the pricing plan of a course from license-based to subscription-based, for users already enrolled on the license-based coupon, the following will happen:
- For those who have redeemed the coupon and have already enrolled in the course, they will continue to have access to the course for a lifetime.
- For those who have not redeemed the coupon and have not enrolled in the course yet, the coupons that were created with the previous pricing plan will be canceled and the users will no longer have access to the course. They will need to re-enroll in the course with a new coupon that will have an expiration date (subscription-based plan).
