Adding and Editing an Above Unit or Unit Automated Association

Ιn Schoox, you can associate Above Units and Units to members either individually or via specific organizational parameters.

Your must first have it enabled in your academy as described here.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Admin Workspace.

When in the Admin Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options.

Select Organization and then Map Team Members.

Associating Members

On the Map Members page, filter between Units and Above Units with this drop-down.

Then select the appropriate Unit or Above Unit.

You then have two choices on how to assign members — by individual or via a set parameter.

By Person

Under the By Person tab, select each individual's plus symbol to add them to list on the right.

You can then add an expiration date, if needed, and Associate.

By Criteria

Under the By Criteria tab, you can create rules based off your organizational structure.

When associating this way, you can also create an ongoing rule to automatically associate using these parameters in the future. Then add an expiration date, if needed, and Associate.

Editing Rules

All rules created as described above will be listed on this page. Simple select one to edit, and save when finished.

Please note that when you save the new changes by setting the new Rule, the old Association Rule is erased, and depending on the changes you have applied, the Above Unit/Unit that got associated through an older version of the rule, may be affected. More specifically,

  • Above Units/Units that got associated through an older version of the rule but still match the criteria of the current rule, will continue to be considered as part of the rule, thus honoring the setting “Dissociate when criteria are not met anymore”.
  • If “Dissociate when criteria are not met anymore” in the old version of the rule was checked: The above Units/Units that got associated through an older version of the rule but don’t match the criteria of the current rule will be instantly dissociated.

Below you'll find some more examples of changes that may affect your Above Units/Units!
