Ιn Schoox, you can set rules for courses/learning paths to be automatically assigned to users.
The procedure of creating Rules is described in the following article:
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.
When in the Team Workspace, select Training Rules and then select Assignment.
In the Assignment page, there are category filters, a search bar, and sorting options to find specific training easier.
If you need to edit an existing rule, this is where you can do this.
On the right, you can download a report listing all current assignment or reassignment rules. Separate reports are available for courses and learning paths.
Within a course or learning path, you can filter by rule status (active, inactive, disabled), rule state (running, paused, etc.), last modified date, and rule owner.
For each rule you then have several options — edit, pause/start, delete, assume rule to become its owner, view its history, and delete and unassign (which is new to this release).
The Edit button redirects you to the "By criteria" page where you can find the existing Rule and implement all the changes you wish.
Please note that when you save the new changes by configuring a new Rule, the previous Auto-Assignment Rule will be removed. Depending on the modifications you apply, users who were assigned under an earlier version of the rule may be affected. Specifically:
-
Users who were assigned under a previous version of the rule but still meet the criteria of the current rule will continue to be included. In this case, the “Unassign when criteria are not met anymore” setting will remain in effect.
-
If “Unassign when criteria are not met anymore” was enabled in the previous rule, any users who no longer satisfy the criteria of the updated rule will be immediately unassigned.
-
Users who do not match the criteria of the new rule will be unassigned regardless of whether they have completed the course. The versioning process does not evaluate course completion status. Therefore, the unassignment will occur solely based on the updated rule criteria.
Below you'll find some more examples of changes that may affect your users!
