Creating Task Pools for Course-Connected On-the-Job Training

You have the option to create task pools for course-associated On-the-Job Training tasks. Pools as a feature are related to courses, and cannot be used in standalone On-the-Job Training.

On-the-Job Training Pools allow you to create a pool of tasks that then can be used in other On-the-Job Training. The Pool belongs to the owner, and can contain tasks they created within any academy.

Non-admin users can only view and add questions from their own pools and admin/training manager pools. They cannot see other users' pools. However, admins of the academy can use these groups of tasks in order to create new OJTs.

Navigation

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.

When in the Academy Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.

Select Manage Training and then select On-the-Job Training.

Set the status to Course-Connected to see all your Course-Connected On-the-Job Training and select the desired training from the list.

Adding Tasks to Pools

When adding a new task to your On-the-Job Training, you can click on Add to pool in the bottom right to immediately add this task to a pool.

You can also add multiple tasks to a pool at once.

Check the boxes next to the tasks you want to add, select Add to pool on the top, and select which pool you want to add them to.

Adding Tasks from Pools

In the On-the-Job Training Panel, select Task Pools.

This gives you an overview of all On-the-Job Training Tasks that are currently in pools. You can use the filter options to select a specific Task Type or Pool.

Click Add to On-the-Job Training to add the task.

If a specific pool is chosen in the filter options, you can select Add All to add all tasks in the selected pool to the On-the-Job Training.

When you go back to Edit Tasks in the On-the-Job Training panel, you can edit the tasks in the On-the-Job Training without affecting the task as it is in the pool.
