Admin and Training Managers with the ability to Assign Training, as well as Managers who have the Assign Training - Automated Rules permission enabled, have the option to create automated assignment rules for courses and learning paths. Moreover, Admins and Managers who have the Create Onboarding profiles permission enabled, have the option to create and activate onboarding profiles.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.
When in the Team Workspace, select Training Rules and then select Assignment.

Depending on your role and permissions, you will be able to see and manage a different set of rules.
Admins are able to see and manage all of the academy rules.
Training Managers are able to see and manage all Course/Learning Path Assignment/Reassignment Rules. Based on their permissions (Assign Courses / Assign Learning Paths) they may be able to see only Course, Learning Path, or both types of Rules.
Managers are only able to see Course/Learning Path Assignment/Reassignment Rules. Moreover, they can only see the rules they have created and the rules that are owned by the academy's Super Admin and refer to their structure.
Now let's check all the different options in more detail!
1. Course and Learning Path Assignment and Reassignment Rules
In the Team Workspace, under Training Rules, you'll find the rules associated with assignment, reassignment, and onboarding.
Within Assignment and Reassignment, there are category filters, a search bar, and sorting options to find specific training easier.
On the right, you can download a report listing all current assignment or reassignment rules. Separate reports are available for courses and learning paths.
Within a course or learning path, you can filter by rule status (active, inactive, disabled), rule state (running, paused, etc.), last modified date, and rule owner.
For each rule you then have several options: edit, pause/start, delete, assume rule to become its owner, view its history, and delete and unassign.
Important Note: an Admin / Training Manager can assume any rule they want while a Manager can only assume a rule that refers to their org structure and belongs to the Academy's Super Admin.
2. Preferred time zone rules
Time Zone rules are found in the Academy Workspace, under Team Member Rules.
Within each time zone, you can filter by rule status, rule state, last modified date, and rule owner. Then within each rule, you have the options to edit, pause/start, delete, assume ownership, and view its history.
3. Onboardings
Within Onboarding, you can filter onboarding profiles by status, last activated date, and profile owner.
For each rule, you are able to edit, delete, assume onboarding profile, and view its history.
Note: Managers who have been granted the Create Onboarding Profiles permission will have access to this dashboard, where they can view the profiles they have created.
4. Mapping rules
Mapping rules are found in the Academy Workspace, under Team Member Rules.
Within each mapped above unit or unit, you can filter by rule status, rule state, last modified date, and rule owner. Then within each rule, you have the options to edit, pause/start, delete, assume ownership, and view its history.
