You have the option to create badges that will be automatically awarded upon the completion of a Learning Path. These badges will show up in the user profile, and can be used as an extra motivation for employees.
To create Learning Path badges, you first need to turn this option on within your Academy Settings.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options.
Select Settings and then Control Panel.
Here you will find multiple advanced options. In this case, we are looking for the Gamification Module. Under Academy Badges, set the toggle to yes for Do You Want Learning Path Badges to make sure badges can be awarded.
Now that you have enabled the Learning Path badges for your academy, you can set these up within the management option of the Learning Path.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.
Select Manage Training and then select Learning Paths.
For this, navigate to the Learner workspace and select Training -> Learning Paths in the left navigation bar. Find the Learning Path you want to set up a badge for and select Manage.
In the right Learning path panel, select Badges. Set the toggle to Yes, add a title for your badge, write a short description, upload an image, and select an icon for your badge.
Select the blue Save changes button at the bottom of the page to save your badge. Once a user completes this Learning Path, they will be awarded the badge and will be able to view it under the Accomplishments in their profile.
Tip!
- If you are an Academy Admin, you will have the option to revoke a badge.
- Badges will be awarded retroactively if learners have already completed a learning path.
- The uploaded image’s ratio should be 400x480 pixels.
