You have the option to cancel your event and add a specific reason for canceling if needed.
Navigation
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.
Select Manage Training and then select Events. The separate In-Class Events and Virtual Events menus are now combined into this single Events menu, so both event types appear together in one list.
Use the Event type filter to narrow the list down to only In-Class or only Virtual events.
Cancelling an Event
Select the appropriate event's title from the list, and then Cancel Event in the Event Panel on the right.
Selecting Cancel opens a confirmation step with a heading and message specific to cancelling the event, explaining that cancelling will also affect its related sessions/offers. Enter a reason for cancelling in the field provided, then select the confirmation button to finish.
You will then be able to find all of the events that were cancelled using the State filtering options.
Canceling an offer included in an event-bundle will result in several recalculations taking place, based on the attendance rules that were set during the event-bundle creation.
Notes:
- Canceling the main event also cancels ALL associated sessions for the event.
- When an event is connected to Microsoft Teams, canceling the event in Schoox should automatically remove it from both the Schoox calendar and the Microsoft Teams calendar. If the event continues to appear on the Microsoft Teams calendar after it has been canceled, please reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
- In some cases, a user may receive a Microsoft Teams notification email that includes the word "Canceled" in the subject line. While this wording may suggest that the entire event has been canceled, it is important to clarify that this is not always the case. This notification may simply be triggered by the user's unregistration or removal from the event, rather than a cancellation of the event itself. As such, the appearance of the term "Canceled" in the subject line does not necessarily indicate that the event has been canceled for all participants.
