Notifying Learners of an Event

You have the option to notify the registrants of your upcoming event by using either Individual Notification or Advanced Notifications.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.

When in the Team Workspace, select Instructor-Led Training.

  • Locate the event and its offering.

  • Click the three-dot menu next to the offering title.

  • Select Notify team members.

which will lead you to the Notify Users screen. Here you have the option to notify specific individuals (By person) or you can select a group of employees based on their job and location (By criteria).

Please note that in the case of Advanced Notification you have the option to select if you want to notify all of the registrants or just the Pending Registrants.

After the user selection, add a message and an attachment (if needed) and hit Notify.

Additional notes:

  • Event times in notifications will appear in the recipient's time zone.
  • You can only notify users for upcoming events. This option is unavailable for events that are already in progress or completed. In such cases, the button will appear greyed out, as shown below.
