Using the Learning Path Scheduler

You as an Admin or user with the relevant permission can decide if the learning path's courses will be automatically available to the enrolled users or if they will be made available some days after.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.

When in the Academy Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.

Select Manage Training and then select Learning Paths.

From here, select your preferred learning path and then select Learning Path Content on the right panel. Lastly, click on Courses.

A complete list of all courses included in the learning path will be displayed. From this view, you can configure the release timing for each course by selecting either a specific number of days (using the “days of” dropdown) or a specific number of hours (using the “hours of” dropdown) after which the course becomes available.

The release timeframe can be calculated based on either:

  • the learner’s enrollment date in the learning path, or

  • the completion date of the preceding course.

For example, if this is set to one day, the course will unlock exactly 24 hours after the enrollment date or after completion of the previous course, depending on the option selected.

Note: The Previous Course Completion Date option does not apply to the first course in the learning path, as there is no preceding course to reference.

Assignments can also be scheduled using smaller time increments and may be set to unlock in as little as one hour, if needed.

Once you enable the Scheduler, an extra checkbox will be available: "Show only next available step". If checked, only the next available (locked) course will be visible to the user.

Note: Visibility and other configuration options for every course/step have to be set up through the respective type page.
