If you are an Admin or a Manager with the relevant permission, you have the option to unassign users from learning paths, even if they match the criteria of an automated rule. The users will be excluded from the rule and the learning paths will not be assigned to them in the future via a rule.
This option is available for Admins, Training Managers who have the Assign permission, and Managers who have the Exclude from assignment rules permission.
Select the Team Workspace Launcher. Under My Team's Dashboard on the left, select either Employees or Training and find the appropriate individual and learning path.
Select the wrench icon next to the individual.
There are two options available:
- Unassign: The regular process, identical to the individual unassignment
- "Exclude from assignment rules" checkbox & Unassign: The user will be unassigned from this learning path even if he/she matches the rule- criteria.
Save once finished.
Please note that you can then review all the users who have been excluded from a learning path Assignment Rule along with the user that excluded them by populating the "Learning Path Exclude Users From Assignment Rules Report" from the Report Builder.
