If your admin has set up games within the academy, you can look at your current progress within your profile.
Within the Social Workspace
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Social Workspace.
When in the Social Workspace, select Game Center and then select Games.
Here you can find an overview of all active games. Click on the title to see more details, such as the levels, your current points, and the ways to earn points for this game.
Using the left-hand menu, you can filter games by type: All, Active, or Ended.
How to Earn Points
As a learner, you can view the available ways to earn points for a specific game by selecting the relevant game and navigating to the Activities table.
If an activity awards points for all courses, the Training column will display “All Courses”. The same applies to activities related to Events or Learning Paths.
If points are awarded only for specific training items, a “Selected” button will be shown. Click this button to see which items are included.
Notes:
The selected training items are displayed in alphabetical order.
When you select a training item from the list, you will be redirected to its About page.
Only training items that you are authorized to access, based on your organizational structure and assigned permissions, will be displayed in the list. If you do not have the necessary access rights, a message will appear stating: "None of the selected items are visible to you due to permission restrictions".
Additional Notes
Points in Games are not given retroactively. You’ll earn points only while you’re actively participating. If you join a game after it has already started, you’ll begin accumulating points from the moment you start participating.
- Games exist in four statuses: Draft, Ended, Scheduled and Active. Points are recorded exclusively while a game is Active.
- Activities completed by an admin will not reward any points to the user.
If the Games sidebar gadget is enabled, clicking the View Game button will take you to the game’s About page.
