Schoox supports video files with a size up to 6GB. The supported video formats are displayed in the list below:
- 3gp
- avi
- flv
- m4v
- mkv
- mov
- mp4
- mpeg
- mpg
- ogv
- webm
- wmv
- mp3
However, there are specific video formats that might be exported in video codecs which are not supported by Schoox. If your file has been exported in such a format, after uploading your video, the system will not be able to finish the conversion and an error message will be displayed on your screen with a Reference ID code.
The supported codecs for the video files are displayed in the list below:
Note: The format/codec of a video must be EXACTLY the same as the ones mentioned below. Any change or addition in the format/codec name means that the file has been exported with different options that are not supported by Schoox.
To check if the format of your video file is supported by Schoox, right-click on the video, and navigate to Properties > Details, and check if the video’s format complies with the supported ones (screenshot below).
To check if the codec of your video file is supported by Schoox, it is suggested to use the VLC media player, open the video file, and navigate to Tools > Information, and check if the video’s codec complies with the supported ones (screenshot below).
