You can send announcements to users enrolled in both internal and external courses and learning paths.
Navigation
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.
When in the Team Workspace, select Self-Paced Training and then select Training Announcements.
Sending Announcements
In the top menu, decide whether you want to send this for a course or learning path. Then, select the training for which you want to send out this announcement.
By Person
To send announcements to individuals, search for the recipients and select them by clicking on the “+” symbol next to their name.
By Criteria
Under the By criteria tab, create parameters based on your organizational structure.
Scroll down to the message box and type out your message. Within the message you can add an imagine or URL. If you'd like to add an attachment for users to see and download, click on the Upload Attachment button and upload your attachment.
Finally, select Send Announcement Now.
Users will get an email and a notification saying they received a new announcement. They can then see the announcement in their messages.
