Schoox gives you a high degree of freedom on how to configure the sequence of all types of steps (e.g. lectures, exams, events, polls, OJT, etc) from one single interface.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Admin Workspace.
When in the Admin Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.
Select Manage Training and then select Courses.
From the list of courses, select the desired course and then select Manage Content on the right panel.
The list of all the steps that are visible within your course will appear. You can change the order of the steps with a simple drag & drop. Moreover, Schoox allows you to decide whether the sequence of the steps will be mandatory or not.
To do so, click on Step Settings and adjust the Step Sequence setting.
Apart from defining the sequence of your steps, the steps configurator gives you the option to set up a specific number of days (relative to the users’ enrollment in the course) after which each step will be available. To do so, select “Yes” on the Scheduler setting and fill in the number of days in the relevant field (per step).
Please note:
- Once you enable the course scheduler, an extra checkbox will be available: "Show only next available step". If checked, only the next available (locked) step will be visible to the user.
- You, as an Admin, have also the option to notify the enrolled users once a course step is available. To do so, just activate the relevant "Course step available by scheduler" Academy notification.
Please note that visibility and other configuration options for every step have to be set up through the respective type page.
