You can customize your academy’s look to better fit your personal preferences or organization's branding. You can adjust the colors used, and can add a cover image and logo where desired.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options.
Select Configuration and then General.
Under the Academy Branding tab, you are able to rename your academy and adjust several aspects of how your academy looks. More options will be added in the near future.
Academy, Company, and Industry
In the three fields at the top of the page, you can adjust the name of your academy and optionally provide your company name and industry.
Academy Name is mandatory; it appears in the upper left corner when that option is selected. Emails from your academy will show this name.
The Company Name and Industry are optional fields, but can supply artificial intelligence that pertinent information, if utilized in your academy.
Branding Your Academy
There are several options for customizing the look and feel of your academy to align with your organization’s brand. This includes changing the banner, adding your logo, changing the way your Academy name is shown, selecting a color palette, changing your email branding, and customizing your login page.
Banner — The large image that sits at the top of your page.
Logo — This space is reserved for your brand logo.
Navigation Menu — This is where your academy name appears in the upper-left portion of each page, with or without the logo.
Logo Image
The logo appears above the navigation menu of your academy, as well as in emails. You can add both a rectangular logo and a square logo. Each will be used where they will best fit.
To add or replace either logo image, select Upload or Replace.
The optimal dimensions for the rectangular logo are 400px wide by 100px high.
The square logo's suggested dimensions are 400px x 400px.
Please note
Square Logo: Updates to the square logo apply to both the Classic and New Experience, as it is a shared element across both interfaces.
Rectangular Logo: This logo is exclusive to the New Experience and is not available in the Classic Experience.
Adding and Replacing Your Banner
To add or replace the cover image, select Upload under Banner.
The optimal dimensions are 2560px wide by 427px high. Experimentation and adjustments may be necessary for your needs.
Please note
- Any adjustments made to the banner in the New Experience will apply only to the New Experience.
- Words may not appear as intended when used on the cover image. It is suggested to refrain from using words on the cover image.
There are three render modes, which alter the way the banner is displayed — Full-Width Header, Colored Edge Fill, and Blurred Edge Background.
Full-Width Header is displayed by default, and allows the banner to simply resize to accommodate the added space when the side panels are removed.
Colored Edge Fill will place a gradient color of your choosing at each edge of the banner, allowing them to gracefully transition to that color when the side panels are open. This will allow the banner to remain the same size as when the side panels are present.
Select the desired color or enter a hex code below.
Blurred Edge Background will place a blur at each edge of the banner, allowing them to gracefully disappear when the side panels are open. This will allow the banner to remain the same size as when the side panels are present.
Header Gradient Control
By default there is a gradient applied to the banner image, making the banner darker than the original image. This is to ensure that the white text is legible.
Under Header Display, toggle Hide banner gradient to the right to provide an alternative.
A concise opaque background will replace the gradient.
Workspace Title Visibility
By default the workspace name will appear above the page title.
Under Header Display, toggle Hide workspace title for all pages to the remove the workspace name from the title section.
Colors
Under Colors, you can set a base color palette. Shades of that main color will then be suggested by the system. Any of these shades can be adjusted as needed. These various shades affect the look of your various links, buttons, tabs, tags, sidebar icons, and more.
You can easily revert any branding color changes to the original default settings by selecting Reset to default.
A basic preview will demonstrate, in real time, any adjustments made. However, to get a better understanding of system-wide changes select Find out more to download this document.
The system retains a predefined set of default branding colors that restore the original look and feel. Please note that certain interface elements have fixed color settings that are not customizable.
Navigation Menu
In the Navigation menu area you can choose how your academy name displays above the left navigation menu.
For Logo Only, the rectangular logo will be used. For Academy Name and Logo, the square logo will be used. An option will not be available if the associated logo has not been supplied.
Under Email you can decide how you want emails to appear. The default is the square logo, with the headers and buttons in the main color of your chosen palette. You can also decide to use your banner instead of a solid color.
Selecting Select Header and Button Color allows you to pick another color in your set palette for the header and button.

Common Image Sizes
Lectures, courses, learning paths, and other elements can have their own imagery as well. Most of the features have their own administration panel in which you can find the respective Edit Image tab. Event images can be edited from the Manage Events page/panel; and Resources item images can be edited from Resources on the Learner, Team or Training Admin Workspaces. Look for items Course Thumbnail, Learning Path Thumbnail, Lecture Thumbnail, Group Thumbnail, Exam Questions, and Content Thumbnails .
Optimal image size is 620x370 as shown below. As long as the aspect ratio is maintained and you are within the four-megabyte size, a higher resolution will provide a cleaner image.
To help you achieve the best visual results across your academy, here are some recommended image sizes and formats for various components:
Training Thumbnails:
Training thumbnails are automatically generated based on your uploaded banner images (suggested size: 1200 × 200 px). These images are resized or cropped to fit 4:3, square, or 16:9 aspect ratios, depending on the screen size and where the image is displayed. Each thumbnail links to a larger page or resource where the same banner image is reused.Badges:
Badges are always square and may appear in different shapes, such as a box, hexagon, or circle. For the best appearance, we recommend using images sized at 400 × 400 px.Microlearning Cards:
Microlearning cards display images in a vertical format. The suggested maximum dimensions are 650 px (width) × 1000 px (height).
