Completing the Self Assessment as a Learner

If your Admin has turned on the option for Self Assessments in the Development Settings, you as an Academy Member can add your own assessments to skills for managers to see.

Navigation

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Learner Workspace.

When in the Learner Workspace, select Development -> Skills.

Performing a Self Assessment

You can assess yourself on any of the displayed skills by clicking the New Assessment button. Enter your rating either by typing a percentage score or by dragging the slider to the desired level. Make sure you are objective about this.

You can also write a comment to help justify your assessment. To do so, select the Comments icon on the right side of the score field.

You can complete up to 30 assessments per skill each month.

Note: The number of self-assessment attempts may vary from 1 to 30 per month, depending on the settings configured by your admin for your academy.

View Chart: If you click on the arrow next to a skill you will be able to see a graph that shows you the skill's self-assessment scores over time.

View Assessments: By clicking the "View Assessments" subtab, you can see all the self-assessments you have performed for this skill.

Learners can view skill descriptions (when available) along with the required proficiency level for each job. This helps them better understand how to complete their self-assessments effectively.

If a skill includes a description, it will be displayed when the drop-down arrow is expanded.
