Tracking Your Progress With Analytics

Analytics Homepage

Within the Learner Workspace, you have access to your own analytics. These are various options to see and track your own progress within the academy.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Learner Workspace.

When in the Learner Workspace, select Analytics. This gives you an overview of all available analytics regarding your progress in the Academy.

There are many different options, all looking at a different aspect of your current status and progress in the academy, giving you a visual overview of how you are doing.

Based on the features that you have enabled in your academy, the above picture shows which analytics you can access.

Your Academy Admin's Member's Dashboard Settings also determine which of these sections appear for you -- see Navigating your Mini Dashboards for the full list of toggles.

Selecting the Analytics overview button will take you to the Summary tab, which gives you a high-level snapshot before you dive into a specific bucket. From there, a download icon is available to export your reporting data as a spreadsheet.

This icon appears throughout the Analytics area. Once selected, you will receive an in-app notification confirming that the file is being generated.

The exported spreadsheet includes the following tabs:ccc

  • Courses
  • Learning paths
  • Exams
  • Events
  • On-the-job training
  • Certificates
  • Microlearning
  • Vignettes

Notes:

  • Filtering what is shown will download only that tab's filtered data.
  • Once the export is ready, an in-app notification will appear. Select the notification to download the file.

When you select a section to look into, you can switch to the others easily. The options are organized into four tabs: Summary, Training, Compliance, and Development.

Filter, search, and sort to find specific data. Each accordion on the left will display its specific content in the main window.

Summary

Your summary is a high-level training overview.

The first part focuses on your completions. You can see your completions, and what kind of content you completed, by year, 6 months, past 30 days, past 7 days, yesterday, and all time. It also shows you the amount of completions, the completion rate, and time spent on courses.

Training Tab

Learning Path Progress

The learning path progress will give you a more detailed overview of the learning paths you are enrolled in or have completed. Click on the relevant learning path to see the time spent, insights, skills connected, completions, completion rate and related courses.

From the three-dot menu on an individual learning path, you can select Launch learning path to open it directly in a new tab. This option is not available for archived learning paths.

Course Progress

The Course progress will give you more details per course. It gives you an overview of your progress for all courses. Click any course to see the details for the selected course.

From the three-dot menu on an individual course, you can select Launch course to open it directly in a new tab. This option is not available for archived or expired courses.

Microlearning

Microlearning gives you an overview of your micro-courses, with the same kind of list and detail view as the Courses bucket. If you have not yet attempted a question card, it shows as Score: Not attempted rather than 0%. From an individual micro-course's three-dot menu, you can select Launch micro-course to open it directly in a new tab (not available for archived micro-courses).

Events

In Events Progress, you get an overview of all Events you have been registered for or partook in. The default shows the statistics for all of them at once. Selecting one from the list gives a more detailed overview of the specific event.

Exams Results

In Exam Results (or the Exams bucket), you get an overview of all Exams you have been registered for or partook in. The default shows the statistics for all of them at once. Selecting one from the list gives a more detailed overview of the specific exam.

You can sort this list by Best attempt date, and each exam's metadata shows that date directly. If you have not yet attempted an exam, its score shows as a dash instead of 0%.

On-the-Job Training Progress

In On-the-Job Training Progress, you get an overview of all On-the-Job Trainings you have been assigned or completed. The default shows the statistics for all of them at once. Selecting one from the list gives a more detailed overview of the specific training.

Credits

In Earned Credit, you get an overview of all credits you earned and where you earned them. The default shows the statistics for all of them at once. Selecting one from the list gives a more detailed overview of the specific credits.

The Credit Type filter only shows values relevant to you.

Onboarding

Onboarding gives you an overview of your onboarding profiles and their progress, with a detail view for each individual profile.

Vignettes

Vignettes (if your academy uses them) gives you an overview of your vignettes, with the same kind of list and detail view as the Exams bucket. You can export your vignette data, with columns for exam name, connected course, best score (shown as a dash if you haven't attempted it yet), and status.

Certificates Progress

Under Certificates Progress, you can find an overview of your certificates. It also shows your current, soon-to-expire, and expired certificates. You can click on any certificate in the list to find more information about the specific certificate.

The following behaviors apply to External Certificates functionality:

  • Only accepted certificate requests are displayed.
  • The View Certificate option appears only for certificates with an uploaded file available for viewing.
  • The Code field appears only when a verification code is associated with the certificate.

Compliance Tab

Compliance Courses

The Compliance tab gives you a direct, dedicated view of your compliance training -- the same course list, progress, scoped to courses tagged as compliance training.

Compliance Learning Paths

Alongside Courses, there is also a dedicated view of your compliance learning paths, scoped to learning paths tagged as compliance training. From an individual learning path's three-dot menu, you can select Launch learning path to open it directly in a new tab (not available for archived learning paths).

Development Tab

Goal Achievements

In Goal Achievement, under Development, you can find more information on the goals you have. It will give an overview of all goals at once, and more details per goal when you click on them.

The filtering, sorting, and goal-detail layout here now match the structure used elsewhere in Schoox for reviewing goals, giving you more ways to narrow down the list before opening an individual goal.

Skill Development

In Skill Development, you get an overview of all skills you have. The default shows the statistics for all of them at once. Selecting one from the list gives a more detailed overview of the specific skill.

Within a skill's detail view, the Assessment Gaps widget is sorted to show the skills with the largest gap first, then skills with no gap, and finally skills with at least a manager or online assessment but no gap data.

Performance Reviews

In Performance Reviews you get a quick overview of all performance reviews. Once again, the default will show you an overview of all reviews at once. Clicking on a specific performance review will give you more details on this.

Only performance reviews that your academy has configured to be visible are listed here: completed manager reviews where the setting to let reviewees see their finalized review is enabled, manager reviews pending your sign-off, and your own self-reviews (draft or completed). You can filter the list by Type (manager or self-performance review) and State (pending, pending signature, or completed). Each review's card shows its state, type, cycle dates, due date, reviewer, and total score. The Download PDF option is available only once a review is completed.

Coaching

Coaching gives you an overview of your coaching sessions, with a detail view for each individual session. The Download PDF option for a session follows your academy's setting for letting learners download completed coaching forms -- if your academy has this setting disabled, the option is hidden for you (though still visible to your manager).

Career Paths

Career Paths gives you an overview of the jobs in your career path, with the same list and job-detail view as the Career Paths page available elsewhere in Schoox.
