Scenario
A user is unable to find a specific event in their Schoox Calendar or under the Events page, despite having visibility into the Event Category to which the event belongs.
Explanation
This behavior may occur if the event in question has been set as Private.
Even if the user meets the visibility criteria for the event's category and has the necessary permissions (e.g., Read access), Private events will not be displayed to them. This includes all offers of the event in cases where it is set up as a Repeated Event with Multiple Offers.
Resolution
To ensure the event is visible to the appropriate users, please update its visibility setting from Private to Public. Follow the steps below:
You can access the event page by going to:
Academy Workspace
Training Admin
Manage Training
Select either In-Class Events or Virtual Events, depending on the event type
Locate and select the event you wish to update.
On the event details page, update the Visibility setting from Private to Public.
