Copying and Using the URL of a Resource

When you upload an item to the Public Resources page, you may want to share its direct URL with others—for example, to include it in communications, guides, or other training materials. This use case walks you through how you can easily locate and copy the link for any file you've added to your Public Resources.

Scenario Overview

You have uploaded a file to the Public Resources section and would like to copy its unique URL so you can reference it elsewhere. The platform provides a straightforward way for you to access and copy this link directly from your Learner Workspace.

How to Copy the URL of a Public Resource

To copy the URL of an item you've uploaded:

  1. Navigate to your Learner Workspace.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Learner Workspace. 

  1. Select Resources from the menu.
  2. Go to the Public tab.

  3. Locate the resource you want to share.
  4. Select View details for that item.
  5. At the bottom of the page, choose Copy link from the available actions.

This will copy the resource’s direct URL to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it wherever you need.

Summary

Using the Copy link option provides a quick and convenient way for you to share resources stored in your Resources section. This ensures that you can easily distribute access to your files whenever needed.

This option is also available for items stored in your Personal Resources section. To access them, go to Learner Workspace > Resources > Personal.
