Two versions of the settings may be displayed, depending on whether Go1 has been previously purchased through Schoox.

Go1 Content Purchased Through Schoox

If you have purchased your Go1 content directly through Schoox, the basic configuration on this page will already have been completed by the Schoox Support Team. Below is how your view will appear under the Go1 Integration option:

At this point, you can choose whether to enable or disable the “Allow newly added Go1 files to overwrite existing versions” toggle. Hovering over the info icon will display additional details about the function of this setting.

  • When this setting is enabled, the details from an uploaded Go1 file will overwrite the details of any matching existing lectures.
  • When the setting is disabled, the existing lecture details will remain unchanged, but duplicate lectures will be created.

Once you have made your selection for the above toggle, you can proceed to import your Go1 content by clicking the Import content button.

Go1 Content Purchased Externally

Then, after navigating to your academy settings by following the steps outlined above, you will need to enable the Go1 Integration toggle.

Once enabled, you will be prompted to enter the required credentials provided by the content provider from whom you purchased the Go1 content.

These fields include your Client ID, Client Secret, Go1 Admin Email, and Portal Domain. Once you have completed all fields, select Save to verify their accuracy.

On this page, you will also need to decide whether to enable or disable the “Allow newly added Go1 files to overwrite existing versions” toggle.

  • When this setting is enabled, the details from an uploaded Go1 file will overwrite the details of any matching existing lectures.
  • When the setting is disabled, the existing lecture details will remain unchanged, but duplicate lectures will be created.

After making your selection, you can begin importing your Go1 content by clicking the Import content button.

Go1 Integration Toggle Behavior

This section explains the system behavior when the Go1 Integration toggle is turned off or on, including how background processes, course archival, and re-imports are handled.

When the Go1 Integration Toggle Is OFF

When the toggle is disabled and the user selects Save, the system responds based on whether background processes are currently running.

If background processes are in progress

For example, if Go1 courses are still being imported:

  • A message is displayed with the following content:

    • Heading: Processing your request

    • Body: Your previous request is still being processed in the background. This may take some time, we'll notify you once the process is complete.

No further action is taken until the background process finishes.

If no background processes are in progress

A modal should be displayed, informing the user that all integrated courses and lectures will be archived and asking for confirmation.

  • Modal heading: Disconnect Go1 integration?

  • Modal body: All synced courses and lectures from Go1 will be archived, but don't worry—your learners' progress will be safe and still available in reports.

Available actions:

  • Cancel (X): Closes the modal with no changes.

  • Disconnect: Confirms the action and triggers the archival process.

Result after confirmation:

  • All integrated Go1 courses are archived.

  • All lectures created from AICC files previously downloaded from Go1 are forced to:

    • Non-visible

    • Non-editable

  • Previously verified credentials are retained for future use.

Re-Enabling the Go1 Integration Toggle

If the toggle is enabled again and the credentials are already verified, the system behavior depends on whether background processes are still running.

If background processes are in progress

For example, if courses are still being archived:

  • A message is displayed with the following content:

    • Heading: Your Go1 courses are being archived

    • Body: You won't be able to turn the integration back on until the process is complete..

The integration cannot be re-enabled until the archival process finishes.

If no background processes are in progress

  • Previously integrated Go1 courses remain archived.

  • The user may proceed with importing content.

Importing Go1 Content After Re-Enabling the Integration

When the user selects Import content, the system checks the Go1 portal used during the original integration.

If the portal domain is the same as the original

  • Selecting previously imported courses:

    • The existing courses are unarchived.

  • Selecting new courses:

    • The courses are added as new entries.

If the portal domain is different from the original

  • Selecting previously imported courses:

    • The courses are recreated, and the archived versions are ignored.

  • Selecting new courses:

    • The courses are added as new entries.

Selecting and Importing Courses

To start importing G01 content, select Import content.

IMPORT.jpg

A window will appear, taking you into your Go1 account.

Add any course you'd like to include in the import to your library.

In your Library,

...check the box next to all courses you wish to import, and select Start Import at the bottom of your list.

The import process may take some time, depending on the selected content and the system's load at the time of the import. For instance, importing a large number of courses may take several hours. You will receive a notification once the import is complete.

Kindly note that you will not be able to initiate another batch import until the current import is finished.

Assigning and Managing Go1 Courses

The selected courses will be imported into your academy within their own preconfigured categories.

You will be able to assign and report on the Go1 courses as you would any native course. You can create a badge and certificate, and prepare the notification. Instructor information is not currently communicated from Go1.

All Go1 courses imported through the integration are automatically associated with four types of tags: one indicating that the content is from Go1, one identifying the original content creator, one reflecting the total course duration, and one specifying the learning object ID.

The provider's name will be visible across all course listing pages, including the My Training page, the Catalog page, and the course details (About) page.

Taking Go1 Courses

To begin taking a Go1 course, select Start Course.

A window will open within your academy displaying the course in the Go1 interface.

Progress will be tracked, though the learner may need to start, for example, a specific chapter over if they close the course and come back later.
