Access to Onboarding Profiles After Organizational Structure Updates

Scenario

You created an Onboarding profile while you had managerial permissions for the Above Units or Units included in the profile’s criteria. If your organizational structure is later updated, you may find that the same Onboarding profile is no longer available for you to view or edit.

What to Expect

If you create an Onboarding profile and your organization’s structure is later updated, your access to that profile may change accordingly.

Visibility and editing permissions for Onboarding profiles are determined by your current managerial permissions for the selected Above Units or Units defined in the profile criteria. If, after the organizational update, your profile no longer matches the same Above Units or Units, managerial role, and required permissions, you will no longer be able to view or edit that profile as a manager, even if you originally created it.

You will continue to have access to any Onboarding profiles that align with your current organizational structure and permissions.

Recommended Guidance

Review your current organizational structure and confirm that it matches the Above Units or Units selected in the Onboarding profile’s criteria.

If the profile is connected to Above Units or Units for which you are no longer considered the manager, an Academy Admin or another user with the appropriate permissions can review or update the profile as needed.
