Coaching Sessions: Canceled Sessions and Session Editing

Session Status

A coaching session is automatically marked as Canceled when any of the following occurs before the session is completed:

  • The learner declines the session.
  • The coach is deactivated.
  • The coachee is deactivated.

Completed sessions always remain marked as Completed and are never changed to Canceled.

Canceled sessions can apply to both upcoming and past sessions, provided the session was not completed.

Team Dashboard Visibility

As a manager, canceled coaching sessions do not appear on the Team Dashboard, regardless of whether the sessions are upcoming or past.

Learner View

As a learner, you can view canceled coaching sessions from: Learner Workspace > Development > Coaching

Canceled sessions remain visible so you can review your coaching history and session details.

Manager View

As a manager, you can view canceled coaching sessions from:

Team Workspace > Coaching > Sessions

Canceled sessions remain available for review and management purposes.
 

Editing Canceled Sessions

As a manager, you can open and edit canceled coaching sessions from:

Team Workspace > Coaching > Sessions

The fields available for editing depend on the reason the session was canceled.

Session Canceled Because the Learner Declined

You can edit most session details. However, the following fields cannot be modified:

  • Recurrence
  • Coachee

Session Canceled Because the Coach or Coachee Was Deactivated

You can edit most session details. However, the following fields cannot be modified:

  • Date and time
  • Recurrence
  • Coachee

Any fields not listed above remain available for editing.
