Release date 29 July
This release introduces an update history and change documentation feature for courses and learning paths.. This feature, configurable via a new setting, gives administrators the ability to provide a comment explaining the reason for any update (e.g., adding a lecture, changing a title, archiving). This comment, along with existing audit details (who and when), will be stored and made visible via a new "Update history" view on the relevant content item. Comments may not be deemed as mandatory, but who made the change will always be tracked if this feature is enabled.
When this feature is enabled, one of the following actions will trigger a comment modal, allowing the user to provide the reason for the action:

Enabling "Update History"
By default, this feature is disabled in your academy. To enable it navigate to the Training academy settings (Academy Workspace > Settings > Training Filter). Under the Courses and Learning Path sections, there is now the additional Track update history for courses (learning paths).
Enable the settings by toggling it to the right.
The options that appear affect how the the comment modal appears after making a change.
- Required presents the comment modal, and does not allow the user to close the modal before leaving a comment. The system tracks who made the change.
- Optional presents the comments modal, but allows the user to not leave a comment. The system tracks who made the change.
- Off does not present a comment modal, but does track who made the change.
Save when finished.
Tracking Updates
While editing a course or learning path (depending on your settings), there will be an Update History option in the right-side menu under Course Panel.
There you can filter and search to find specific updates. The date and time, specific user who performed the action, and action specifics are all listed.
Selecting the eye icon displays the comment, if provided.
