The Academy Marketplace allows those associated with your academy to purchase access to courses developed in your academy.
Moreover, the Academy Marketplace has its own unique internet address; one does not need to be logged into Schoox to access it. If they decide to purchase a course, they will be taken to the Schoox login page and then be able to complete the transaction. A course, when purchased, will then be added to the purchaser's in progress courses within your academy or academies.
The New Experience Academy Marketplace
This release brings updates the Academy Marketplace for New Experience.
It must be enabled in your Academy Settings (Academy Workspace > Settings > Academy > Public registration and academy marketplace).
If logged in as an academy member, it appears as its own Workspace.
If a user enters the Marketplace from the public link and is not a member of the academy, they will be able to see the available content, but will not have access to the rest of the academy.
Member of an academy other than the one that owns the marketplace will have access to the academy switcher, where they can navigate to that academy's marketplace. They will only have access to that academy's marketplace while there.
As it is a workspace, it can is editable in the Workspace Editor.
Filtering and Sorting
Filtering options currently include by category, language, and instructor.
Sorting options include Alphabetical and Date added. Date added refers to the date the course was added to the marketplace.
Purchasing and Enrolling
Selecting a course in the marketplace opens the course's about page, where you can purchase and enroll in the course.
Academy Marketplace courses cannot be purchased on mobile, as it is a restriction of mobile apps. However, purchased courses will function as normal.
