Awarding a Badge for an Organizational Goal

Awarding a Badge for an Organizational Goal

You can attach a badge to an organizational goal so that recognition is built into the goal itself. The badge is awarded automatically when the goal is completed, so there's nothing to hand out manually once the work is done.

Finding the Badges Tab

Open the organizational goal you want to work with from the Team Workspace (Team WS > Goals). When goal badges are enabled for your academy in the academy settings, a Badges tab appears on the goal alongside its other tabs. If you don't see the Badges tab, goal badges are not enabled for your academy.

Select the Badges tab.

To add or change a badge here, you need the permissions to manage organizational goals.

Adding a Badge to the Goal

On the Badges tab, select the option to add a badge.

You can then design the badge as you see fit.

Previewing the Badge

As you choose the badge icon and colors, a live badge preview updates to reflect your selections, so you can see how the finished badge will look before you save it.

Saving or Restoring the Default

When the badge looks the way you want, select Save to keep it. If you'd like to start over, select the option to restore the default, which returns the badge to its default appearance.

When the Badge Is Awarded

The Badges tab shows an explanatory message that reads: "The badge will be awarded to the goal creator once, when the goal is completed." The badge is awarded to the goal creator a single time, at the point the goal is completed.

Returning to the Goal

To leave the Badges tab, select the Back to goal button. This returns you to the tab you came from — Open, Archived, or Completed.

Note: The "At a glance" panel shown on other goal tabs is not displayed while you are on the Badges tab.
