Your academy includes a Connected training visibility setting that controls whether learners can see training items connected to a parent course or curriculum — such as a course within a curriculum, an on-the-job training, an event, or a poll tied to that parent item.

Finding the Setting
Go to Admin > Your Academy > Academy Settings > Training, then select Connected training visibility.
Choosing a Visibility Option
Three options are available:
- Always hide connected training (NEW) — Connected training items are hidden for every learner in the academy, and learners can no longer toggle this themselves.
- Always show connected training (default) — Learners always view all training items, including connected items.
- Allow learners to control visibility — Learners can choose whether to hide or show connected training themselves, using a “Hide connected training” option available across their My Training pages.
What Changes When Connected Training is Always Hidden
When Always hide connected training is selected, learners only see parent-level and standalone items in their My Training pages (Overview, In Progress, and Completed tabs) — items connected to a parent course or curriculum, such as a connected on-the-job training, event, or poll, are no longer listed separately underneath it. Since visibility is no longer something learners can adjust themselves, the “Hide connected training” checkbox and related filters are also hidden, since they no longer apply.
