Some admins have reported that, in rare cases, a course assignment made to a group of learners can later show as unassigned in the reporting dashboard, even though the original assignment was confirmed at the time by both a confirmation email and an entry in the academy audit log.
What We Know So Far
In the cases reported so far, the affected learners' course assignment appears correctly in the academy audit log for the date it was made, and the admin who assigned it received a confirmation email. Afterward, the reporting dashboard can show no assignment data at all for that date for the affected learners, and the learners can appear as dropped or unassigned from the course — without any unassignment entry appearing in the academy audit log to explain the change. A root cause has not yet been confirmed.
Workaround
If you notice learners missing from a course they were previously assigned to, with no unassignment entry in the academy audit log, re-assign them to the course and confirm they now appear correctly in the reporting dashboard. Catching this quickly matters most for time-sensitive or compliance-driven training requirements, where learners need to complete a course by a specific deadline. If this happens again, contact Schoox support with the course, academy, and the date of the original assignment so the behavior can be investigated further.
