Navigating Schoox: My Training vs Catalog

Two similar options you encounter as a learner are My Training and Catalog.

These options both live in the Learner Workspace under Training.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Learner Workspace.

My Training

My Training is the collection of training you are currently enrolled in. Here you can find your current progress, as well as completions, of all your courses, learning paths, events, microlearning, and On-the-Job trainings.

When you are in the Learner Workspace, click on Training and then select My Training.

Any filters selected on the My Training page are preserved when you navigate away from the page and return later, allowing you to continue working with your preferred view.

The Catalog

The Catalog shows all training you have permission to see — courses, learning paths, microlearning, events, and polls — regardless of whether you have not started it, are currently enrolled or registered, or have already completed it. Items you are enrolled in, registered for, or have completed show their status, along with a progress bar and, once finished, the same “Completed” tag used on the My Training page. A Status filter lets you narrow the Catalog down to just the training you have not started, are in progress on, or have completed, if you want a more focused list. Opening the Quickview for an enrolled or completed item from the Catalog shows the same details you would see opening it from My Training.

The Catalog is where you browse everything you have permission to see, while My Training stays focused on the training you are actively working through or have completed.

Under Recommendations, you will find multiple feeds showing you recommendations with a range of subjects, such as featured training, most popular courses, and self development courses.

If your academy uses skills, you can also locate courses that will help you gain specific skills under Job Specific Training.

When in the Learner Workspace, select Training and then Catalog.

The different tabs give you a quick overview of the different kinds of training available.

Please note that while the steps of a Course or a Learning Path are visible on their respective About pages, these steps cannot be opened directly from that view. The list is provided to display the structure and sequence of the training item.

To access the content, learners must select the Enroll, Start, or Resume button at the top of the page. This action opens the next unfinished step in the sequence based on the learner’s progress. Once inside the Course or Learning Path, learners can use the right-hand navigation panel to move through the training and access any unlocked step in the sequence.

Any filters selected on the Catalog page are reset when you navigate away from the page. When you return to the Catalog, the default filter settings are applied.
