If you want to change the primary instructor of a Learning Path, you can do this as long as you have Admin rights.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Admin Workspace.
When in the Admin Workspace, select Training Admin for all Training Administration options.
Select Manage Training and then select Learning Paths.
Here, select the Learning Path you want to change the instructor for and go to Manage.
On the right in the Learning Path Panel, select Instructors. If you already have multiple instructors, you can go directly to Manage Instructors. Otherwise, you can add a new instructor under Add Instructors.
To change the Primary Instructor under Manage Instructors, all you need to do is set the primary instructor and save this. If there is only one instructor, this option will be greyed out.
To add a new instructor, go to Add Instructors. Click on the Plus next to the name, scroll down to the blue Save button and save. You will see both instructors under Manage Instructors.
Please note: if the primary instructor of a Learning Path is deactivated, the Learning Path will be transferred to another primary instructor, depending on the category.
- If the curriculum is in a normal training category, the Academy Admin will automatically be selected as the Learning Path's primary instructor.
- If the Learning Path is in a decentralized training category, the “owner” of the decentralized category (Head of/Assistant Head of) will be set as the Learning Path's primary instructor.

If there are more than one category "owners", all of them will be added as instructors to the Learning Path and one of them (randomly) will be set as the primary instructor.

If there is no "owner" in this decentralized category, the Academy Admin will be set as the Learning Path's primary instructor.
