You as an Admin or Training Manager of an Academy, have the ability to set your learning path Listings in the order in which you prefer them to appear. You also have the option to select to promote any of your Academy's learning paths. Let's check each option in more detail.
As an Admin or Training Manager of an Academy, you have the ability to set the order in which you prefer courses to appear in lists. You also have the option to select to promote any of your Academy's courses, including external (purchased) courses. Let's check each option in more detail.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Training Admin -> Settings -> Training Items Listing.

On this page, you also have the ability to set your Learning Paths Listings in the order in which you prefer them to appear. There are two options you can use: Priority (All) and Priority (Enrolled). Let's check their difference.
Priority (All)
The Priority (All) column refers to the order in which all learning paths will appear when you navigate to Training - learning paths. The greater the number, the higher the learning path will appear.
If you prefer a learning path to appear on top of the learning paths listing, add a large number in the box. Any learning paths with a smaller number will appear in the order of the numbers you give them. All learning paths with no number added (zero) will appear in next, with the most recent populating first.
Priority (Enrolled)
The Priority (Enrolled) column refers to the order in which all enrolled learning paths will appear when you navigate to Training - My Training. The greater the number, the higher the learning path will appear.
If you prefer a learning path to appear on top of the enrolled learning paths listing, add a large number in the box. Any learning paths with a smaller number will appear in the order of the numbers you give them. All learning paths with no number added (zero) will appear next, with the most recent populating first.
To choose which learning paths are displayed as promoted, toggle each Promoted option to Yes.
As soon as the block has been added you can choose which learning paths should be listed as promoted learning paths. All learning paths will be displayed on the Learning Paths Listing page and you can select the ones you want to be promoted. Just toggle the Promoted option to Yes for the learning paths you want to promote.
Up to three training items can be highlighted at any one time. For a learning path to populate as a promoted learning path, the user should not be enrolled in the learning path.
Tips!
- Private learning paths, even if selected as promoted, do not populate in the promoted learning paths block. Learning paths need to be public to be promoted in the relevant block.
- Learning paths category visibility rules outweigh the promoted learning paths setup. For example, a learning path set as promoted learning path, which is part of a category not visible to all employees, won't populate at the promoted learning paths block for an employee who does not have access to that category.
- Learning paths are not shown as promoted to associated instructors.
Promoting Learning Paths
Go to Training -> Catalog. Promoted learning paths are found under Featured Training.
Update training categories
If you want to update your training categories, please navigate to: Academy Workspace > Training Admin > Manage Training > Training Categories. Read more on this functionality here: Managing Training Categories
Note
Please note that, as a learner, you have the option to sort and view your training based on priority.
