You, as an Academy Admin, can select how courses will be suggested to your learners.
Navigation
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Development Admin.
Select Settings -> Control Panel.
Options for Suggested Courses
Scroll down to Adaptive Learning and open Adaptive Learning - Suggested Courses.
There are a few settings available:
- Default: Courses are suggested based on which categories the user has view-permissions for. The latest courses published and open for them to take will be suggested.
- Jobs: The algorithm will weigh courses that are relevant to the employee's job higher. It will take into account the categories the user can access, the date the course was published, and the course creation date.
- Skills: The algorithm will weigh courses connected to skills needed for the employees job higher. It will take into account the skills connected to both the user's job and the relevant courses.
If you select the Skills option, you have the choice to select Skills Management, which takes into account the job-connected skills the employee is performing worst at. This option will prioritize courses that have these skills connected. You can choose whether it takes only the manual assessments or the automated assessments into account.
To fully utilize the Jobs and Skills options for suggesting courses, you must correctly set up the associations between skills, jobs, and courses.
