Roles: Permissions: Assess Skills |
When skills have been set up, and learners have been assessed on their skills, you can track past skill assessments in My Team Dashboard for more insight and clarity.
Navigation
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.
When in the Team Workspace, select My Team Dashboard and then Development. Select Skills.
Three tabs will appear on top of the page:
- By Skill
- By Job
- Assessment gap
On all tabs, table sorting now happens directly within the table. Within these pages you can track all manual and automated skill assessments for users.
Tracking Assessments
By Skill and By Job
Within these tabs you can see how learners are progressing towards the selected skill or job compared to their peers. Click on the desired tab and select the skill or job you would like more insight in.
On the By Skill listing, the top statistics are "Total active skills," "Skills mapped to jobs," and "Skills mapped to training."
On the By Job listing, the top statistics are "Total jobs" (the number of jobs in the list), "Total skills mapped to jobs", and "Total learners with job".
By default, the "Skills Associated" filter only shows jobs that have skills associated with them.
On a specific skill's page, the statistics are "Average skill score," "Learners skill is required for" (with the average score of learners for whom the skill is required), and "Learners with assessments" (learners for whom the skill isn't required but who have an online assessment, with their average score shown separately). The listing includes both learners who require the skill (by job or assignment) and learners who don't require it but have an assessment on it. You can filter by user custom fields and by whether the skill is Required (Yes/No). The Rank column is narrower. Inside each learner's assessment history, dates no longer use your academy's branding color and appear in a smaller font, sort by most recent first, and follow your date format setting. A tooltip on self-assessments notes "Not included in average skill score." Manager and self-assessments show the assessment origin as "By [name of manager]," and online assessments from courses also show the exam title.
On a specific job's page, the listing includes learners who currently hold the job as well as learners with at least one assessment on a skill connected to the job. You can filter by user custom fields and by a new "Selected job is" filter -- "Learner's current job" (the default) or "Connected to a skill assessment." The "Relation to job" column now reads "Assessment" instead of "Other" for learners included because of a skill assessment rather than a followed job.
