Navigating the Catalog

Within the Learner Workspace, you can access both your training - for training you are enrolled in, and the Catalog, which now shows all the training you have access to — whether you're already enrolled, registered, or have completed it, or haven't started it yet. Read more about the differences between the two on: Navigating Schoox: My Training vs Catalog

Navigation

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Learner Workspace.

When in the Learner Workspace, select Training and then Catalog.

This gives you an overview of all the training you have access to — including training you're already enrolled in, registered for, or have completed.

Within the streams shown under the different tabs, you can easily find more information about the training by hovering over the training and selecting Quick View.

Items you have access to across the Catalog now show a status tag: Completed once you've finished them, or Assigned/Enrolled while they're still in progress, following the same convention used on the My Training page. A completed item always shows the Completed tag on its own — never alongside Assigned or Enrolled. Events do not display an Assigned/Enrolled tag. Any other connection indicator (for example, showing how you gained access to an item) appears as its own separate tag and never replaces the status tag.

You can add a training to your favorites by selecting the heart icon in the top-right of any card.

There are up to six different tabs within your Catalog, helping you find all the training you have access to in one place — whether you still need to enroll or you're already working through it.

Recommendations

The first tab within the Catalog is Recommendations. Here, you can find an overview of recommended training. A few of the streams you may see here are:

Featured Training: Training that has been highlighted as featured training in your Academy.

Most Popular: Training material that has the most enrolled learners (not assigned).

Compliance Training: Training marked as Compliance Training.

Explore by Category: A way to find training based on categories set up in the Academy.

Important note: If your academy includes third-party content, separate recommendation streams for each content provider will appear in the Catalog’s Recommendations tab. These streams are visible only when relevant content is available. Additionally, courses will only be displayed to individuals who have been allocated a license; otherwise, the corresponding streams will not be visible to them.

Courses

The second tab within the Catalog is all about courses. By default, it shows every course you have access to — including ones you're already enrolled in or have completed — and you can use the filters or search bar to narrow it down.

Status: Not enrolled, in progress, or completed courses.

Preferences: Featured or favorited courses.

Categories: Courses in a specific category.

Language: Courses in the selected language.

Objectives: Courses related to compliance, skills, development, or career paths.

Skills: Courses that have skills attached and can help you grow in these skills.

Grouped Skills: Courses that have grouped skills attached and can help you grow in these skills.

Notes:

  • When using the search field in the Catalog, results are automatically sorted by relevance and the sorting dropdown is not available. The dropdown will reappear once the search is cleared. Additionally, the Catalog search does not support searching by course code or external ID.
  • When you apply filters in Catalog > Courses and then navigate to another catalog tab, such as Learning Paths, your selected filters should still be applied when you return to the Courses tab.

Learning Paths

The second tab within the Catalog is all about Learning Paths. By default, it shows every learning path you have access to — including ones you're already enrolled in or have completed — and you can use the filters or search bar to narrow it down.

Status: Not enrolled, in progress, or completed courses.

Preferences: Featured or favorited learning paths.

Categories: Learning paths in a specific category.

Language: Learning paths in the selected language.

Objectives: Learning paths related to compliance, skills, development, or career paths.

By default, the Learning Paths tab shows every learning path you have access to; use the Status filter (or any of the filters above) to narrow the results. Learning paths you're enrolled in or have completed show a progress bar and, once finished, a Completed tag.

Microlearning

If your Academy has Microlearning set up, you will find the Microlearning tab in your Catalog. By default, it shows all microlearning available for you to enroll in, but you can use the filters or search bar to narrow it down.

Status: Not enrolled, in progress, or completed courses.

Preferences: Featured or favorited microlearning.

Categories: Microlearning in a specific category.

Language: Microlearning in the selected language.

Skills: Micro-courses that have skills attached and can help you grow in these skills.

Events

The events tab shows you all upcoming events that you are able to enroll in. These will, after enrollment, be visible on your Calendar. By default, it shows all the microlearning you have access to — including ones you're already enrolled in or have completed — and you can use the filters or search bar to narrow it down.

Status: Not registered, registered, or completed events.

Type: In-Class or Virtual

Connection: Events that are part of a course, learning path, or standalone.

Preferences: Featured events.

Categories: Events in a specific category.

Events you've registered for or completed show a progress bar, and once completed, a Completed tag (Events don't show an Assigned or Enrolled tag while still in progress). Their Quick View also matches the one on My Training.

Polls

If your Academy has Polls enabled, you'll find a Polls tab in your Catalog. By default, it shows every poll you have access to — whether you haven't answered it yet or you've already completed it — and you can use the filters or search bar to narrow it down. Unlike the other tabs, Polls don't have a Quick View.

Status: Completed or Not Completed

Connection: Standalone polls, or polls that are part of a course, learning path, or event.

Enrollment type: Self-enrolled, assigned, or not assigned/self-enrolled — based on how you gained access to the poll.

Preferences: Favorited or not

Once you've completed a poll, it shows a Completed tag.
