To set up a course that automatically reassigns on a frequent basis (e.g. every quarter), you can leverage either the Certificate settings or the Oblige to Retake / Reassignment Rules within the course configuration:

Using Certificate Settings: Assign a certificate to the course with an expiration period of 3 months. Then, enable the option to reassign the course 0 days before the certificate expires. This setup ensures the course is reassigned to users every 3 months.
Using Course Reassignment Rules: Alternatively, configure Oblige to Retake rules to create a recurring assignment every 3 months, if certificates aren't used.
To include new employees in this cycle:
Set up an Onboarding Profile that includes the course and is tied to a specific job role.
When a new hire is added to the platform or an existing employee’s job changes to that role, they will automatically receive the course assignment through the onboarding profile.
Once they complete the course, they will be included in the established quarterly reassignment schedule.
This approach ensures both ongoing compliance and consistent training for new and existing employees alike.
