This release adds several enhancements to the process of Go1 academy integration.
Overwrite Option
As with other external content provider integrations, there is now an option to overwrite existing Go1 content when integrating Go1 in an academy.
Some academies may already have Go1 content active, brought in by some other means. This option gives the admin the choice to combine or overwrite existing matching content while the initial sync happens, or to keep the originals, and bring in duplicates as fresh content.
Tags
Specific tags are now brought in to the academy and associated with each item during the the sync. These allow Schoox and Go1 to communicate specific information needed to track content.
These tags are not editable. They include the duration, the fact that it is Go1 content, learning object ID, and the actual content creator.
Integration Options
The integration process behind the scenes has also been refined, based on whether or not the academy already has Go1 content in use. These processes will significantly simplify the process by specifying the type of integration that is needed.
For those who already have Go1 content in their academy, the process will not change. In Settings, the admin can complete the fields with the information they have received externally from the provider they purchased the Go1 content from, determine if they want existing content overwritten, and then select Import content to start the sync.
For users who are new to the Go1 integration in their academy and have purchased Go1 content directly through Schoox, the required information will already be populated and the relevant fields will be hidden. They only need to decide whether to overwrite any existing Go1 content that was manually uploaded and then select Import Content.
