Release date 1 April
Instructor's update about an upcoming event
The first part of this release updates the Notification about a new training event offer notification to better clarify its use case. (Academy Workspace > Notifications > Events)
This notification triggers when an instructor manually notifies learners about an upcoming event offer. To minimize confusion over this title, it has been changed to Instructor's update about an upcoming event.
This notification covers both in-class and virtual events.
The email subject and initial sentence has been updated to reflect the change.
This only affects the default wording. Any previous edits to the email will remain as is. To use the new default message, the notification must be set to default while editing it.
A new training event offer is now available
The second part of this release adds a new notification — A new training event offer is now available. This, as its name suggests notifies learners of a new event offer, as opposed to an update.
This notification only send out an email; there is no in-app option. It covers both virtual and in-class events.
This notification will be triggered:
- only for registration based events
- only for events that do not have the “users must attend all offers” attendance rule selected.
- only if the new offer is an upcoming one
- only to users already on a waiting list for one of the offers of the event in question
- only to users that do not have a current completion at a bundle level
