An Admin can manage the academy settings for your On-the-Job Training assessment to create custom performance levels or a scoring system. You can determine if you want your trainers who evaluate or sign-off on the On-the-Job Training to asses each task. Performance levels enable your organization to better evaluate and track each learner’s proficiency across tasks.
Navigation
All your Academy Settings are centralized and can be accessed directly within your Academy Workspace under the Settings section.
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Settings.
On this page, you will locate the Training Type settings.
Select the On-the Job Training section to expand settings. In this section, you will locate 3 options that are available for your task assessment.
- No Assessment - Managers do not need to assess user's tasks.
- Performance Levels - A custom scale can be created for managers to define overall performance of task.
- Score - Managers will use a 0-100% rating scale to provide overall task assessment.
If performance levels are chosen, you can define titles of each level, a detailed description, and a color code level indicator. The detailed description will be available to a manager as they sign off their tasks within the On-the-Job Training dashboard. You can hover over the performance level in the dropdown to see the full description of each option.
The color code indicator will appear after you have saved a performance level for each task and in the Assessments Matrix View.
Notes
- A maximum of 10 custom performance levels can be created. Once this limit is reached, the Add Level button will be disabled and no additional levels can be added.
- If you need to delete a performance level because you've added too many options or need fewer than the default inputs, you will be required to choose a value from the “Replace the level with” dropdown—even if you are not replacing anything.
