Notification When You’re Added as a Recipient to a Scheduled Report

When working with scheduled reports, you may be added as a recipient to help you stay informed about important updates and insights shared within your academy.

What’s happening

When you’re added to a scheduled report, you’ll receive an email notification titled “You have been assigned to receive a report”.

This is a hidden, system-generated notification triggered on the backend, designed to inform you that:

  • You’ve been included in the report’s recipient list
  • You will receive the report according to its defined schedule

This behavior ensures visibility and keeps report distribution clear across all recipients.

Notification behavior and configuration

This notification is part of the platform’s standard functionality and is managed entirely on the backend. It is not configurable through the user interface, and there are no in-app settings to control or disable it individually.

If there is a need to disable this notification for users within your academy, this can only be handled through backend configuration.

Recommended approach

If you prefer not to receive these notifications, you can:

  • Request to be removed from the report’s recipient list if the report is not relevant to you
  • Contact the Schoox Support Team for further assistance if you would like these notifications to no longer be triggered and sent to users

Summary

This backend notification helps maintain transparency by informing you when you are included in a scheduled report. While it is enabled by default and not configurable through the user interface, it can be disabled with the assistance of the Schoox Support Team through backend configuration. By coordinating with report owners and contacting support, you can ensure that your notification experience aligns with your preferences.
