This enhancement gives Academy administrators a new control for sidebar gadgets. Admins can decide whether the sidebar gadget setup they create should remain editable by end users or stay locked as the standard Academy experience.
When the setting is locked, users no longer see the User Sidebar Settings option. This prevents users from hiding, showing, or reordering the gadgets that administrators have configured for them.
While configuring the sidebar gadgets (Academy Workspace > Settings > Academy Filter > Sidebar), there will now be a new option to Lock sidebar gadgets for all team members.
With this option checked, Admins will no longer see the User Sidebar Settings option when accessing the drop-down menu.
Non-admin team members will no longer see the drop down at all.
In addition, the Sidebar options in team members' personal settings will be inaccessible.
