Overview
When working with Go1 training content in Schoox, you may occasionally come across a Go1 learning item that opens to a blank page instead of displaying the expected course content.
This can happen when the selected Go1 item is a playlist rather than an individual Go1 course. A playlist is a collection of courses, while Schoox currently supports syncing and launching individual Go1 courses.
What you may see
After assigning a Go1 learning item, you may notice that:
- The item appears available in Schoox.
- A learner can select or launch the item.
- The content page opens, but no course content is displayed.
This behavior is specific to Go1 playlist-type content. It is not related to learner permissions, assignment settings, or the course configuration in Schoox.
Why this happens
Go1 playlists are structured differently from individual Go1 courses. While an individual course is designed to launch as a standalone learning item, a playlist contains multiple Go1 courses grouped together in Go1.
Schoox supports launching individual Go1 courses. If a playlist is synced as if it were a course, the individual course content inside that playlist is not launched directly from the playlist item.
Recommended approach
To make the content available to your learners, add the individual Go1 courses from the playlist to your Schoox library instead of adding the playlist itself.
You can then choose the setup that best fits your training needs:
- Add and sync the individual Go1 courses included in the playlist.
- Assign the individual Go1 courses directly to your learners.
- Create a Learning Path in Schoox and include the individual Go1 courses in the preferred order.
Using a Learning Path is a great option when you want to recreate the playlist experience while keeping each Go1 course available as supported launchable content in Schoox.
