This release adds a new notification which is triggered when spots open in a fully booked event that includes a waiting list — Team members were registered to an event from a waiting list.
This notification is found in in the Academy Workspace > Notifications > Academy > Events
There are two ways users on the waitlist can get registered:
- Auto approved case: The users from the waiting list are registered and auto approved, because the “Auto approved” checkbox is selected through edit event page.
- Needs approval case: The users from the waiting list are registered, but registration is pending approval, because the “Auto approved” checkbox is NOT selected through edit event page.
The new notifications will let the manager know via email and in-app notification one of the following:
- Seats became available for [event title]. Team members from the waiting list have been automatically registered and approved.
- Seats became available for [event title]. Team members from the waiting list have been registered, but need your approval.
Each of these specific email notifications can be previewed and edited independently. The in-app notification can also be enabled. This release does not include a mobile push notification.
