Getting the full picture of a team member is now faster. The member info pop-up on the Manage Members page has been redesigned so admins can see who someone is, what roles they hold, where they sit in the organization, and their custom information, all in one organized view; and then jump straight to the full profile when they need more.
Feature Highlights
A Redesigned Member Info Pop-Up. See the member's avatar, roles, and a View profile button the moment the pop-up opens.
Units and Jobs and Custom Fields Tabs. Member information is organized into two tabs, so there is no more scrolling or expanding items one by one.
A Clear Empty State. When a tab has nothing to show, the pop-up tells you so instead of leaving you guessing.
A New User Field-Groups Order Setting. Choose which tab opens first and control the order of External IDs and custom fields.
Redesigned Member Info Pop-Up
Selecting a member's name on the Manage Members page opens a pop-up that now puts the essentials up front.
- Avatar: the member's avatar appears next to their name at the top of the pop-up.
- Roles: the member's roles, both system and custom, are always shown as tags.
- View profile: the View profile button sits at the top of the pop-up so it is always visible, whenever profiles are enabled for your academy.
Units and Jobs and Custom Fields Tabs
Units and jobs shows the org nodes the member is assigned to, along with any jobs they hold. A tag next to each node shows its type, so you can tell Above Units and Units apart at a glance. Long Above Unit type names are shortened, and hovering over one shows the full name. Long Above Unit and Unit titles continue on a second row, so nothing is cut off.
Custom fields shows the member's External ID(s) and any custom fields that have a value and are visible in member info. The tab appears only when there is something to show, so you never open an empty list.
Empty State
If a tab has no information for a member, the pop-up shows a short, friendly message: Nothing to view here and There isn't any information here for this person.
Default Tab and Field Order Setting
The updated User field-groups order setting in Team Members Settings lets admins decide how the pop-up opens for everyone in the academy. (Academy Workspace > Settings > Academy > Team Member Settings)
- Default tab: choose whether the pop-up opens on Units and jobs (the default) or Custom fields.
- Field order: set the order in which External IDs and custom fields appear in the Custom fields tab.
Existing academies keep their previous order, so the pop-up looks the way admins already expect.
