Badge Settings and Permissions

Admins have, by default, the option to create badges. They also have the option to decide if Training Managers should be able to create badge.
First, we want to make sure that badges are enabled in the Academy.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Social Workspace.

When in the Social Workspace, select Settings.

Under Badges, you can decide which badges are available in your Academy.

When the badges are enabled, it is time to set the permissions for creating badges by either job or role.

When you have the Badges turned on and the permissions for creation and awarding badges set up as you'd like, it is time to start creating them!

Creating Badges

When in the Social Workspace, select Badges.

Here, you get an overview of all current badges in your Academy. To create a new badge, select Create Badge in the top-right.

Add a title for your badge, write a short description, upload an image or select the colors and icon for your badge.

Under Who can award this badge? you can also filter which managerial jobs are able to award the badge. Note that Everyone only means people in managerial jobs, with the Award Badge permissions.

If you decide to upload your own image, you can also use AI to generate one for you. Go to the Upload Image tab and select Use AI.

Give it a prompt and select the image you like, or use Regenerate to get three new images for the same prompt. Then click Save to select the image.
Select Create Badge button below the badge example when finished.
