Creating an Academy Badge

In Schoox you can create badges based on the needs of your academy. Once created, Admins, Training Managers, and users with managerial jobs will be able to award them to members for celebrate jobs well done.

Setting Permissions

Admins have, by default, the option to create badges. They also have the option to decide if Training Managers should be able to create badges.
First, you need to turn on the Gamification Module, and set the permissions for creating badges.

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Admin Workspace.

When in the Admin Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options. 

Select Settings and then Control Panel.

Under Gamification Module, you can select who should be able to create badges.

Moreover, you have the option to give the Create Badge permission to specific managerial jobs (Unit Managers, for example). See: Defining Permissions per Job

Creating Badges

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Social Workspace.

When in the Social Workspace, select Badges and then Edit Badges.

Here you can create new badges by selecting the Create badge button.
You have the option to allow specific Managerial jobs to award this specific badge.

Add a title for your badge, write a short description, upload an image and select a shape or icon for your badge.

Please note:

  • Admins have an extra option available in order to make a badge awardable only by specific jobs.
  • The uploaded image’s ratio should be 400x480 pixels.
Select the blue Save button at the bottom of the page when finished.
