Exclude Rule for Course Reassignment or Omit Students No Longer Enrolled

Currently, Admins send out two versions of the Academy notification You have been assigned to retake a course, according to if the receiver is:

  1. An Enrolled user — Learners who are still active in the course, either having been assigned the course or having enrolled themselves. 
  2. A Dropout user — Learners who have completed the course or are otherwise no longer active. The learner is prompted to optionally re-enroll in the course to regain certification. 

As part of this enhancement Admins now have the ability to completely exclude Dropout users from receiving re-enrollment notifications. This should give you more flexibility to define your desired target audience, and will minimize unnecessary notifications.

This enhancement affects both the Email notification and Real-Time notification (In-App & Mobile).

 

The You have been assigned to retake a course notification is found in the Academy Workspace, under Training Admin on the left. Then Notifications and Academy. Then the Courses/Learning Paths tab.

There is now a Recipients drop-down menu, where you can choose to exclude learners who have dropped out. 

You also have the option of previewing each version separately.

When editing the email notification, there are now blocks for each.
