Academy Settings to Prevent Non-Admins from Assigning or Changing Due Dates

Currently managers can change due dates or unassign courses to themselves or to their team members that were assigned by admins. This new academy setting which, when enabled, will prevent non-admins from unassigning or changing due dates when initially assigned by an admin.

Enabling the Setting

This functionality is enabled with an academy setting. Academy Workspace > Academy Admin > Settings > Control Panel > Training Assignment Settings > Only admins can unassign or reassign training and edit due dates assigned by an admin

Functionality

When attempting to unassign training assigned by an admin, the non-admin will be presented with communication why they are unable on the last step. 

A confirmation email notification will also be sent, as usual.

This functionality is similar when using the CSV template to unassign. Non-admins will not be able to unassign.

The ability to reassign, unassign, and change the due date will not be available in My Team Dashboard when applicable.
