Release date 4 December
This release updates Performance so it is better aligned with the New Experience design language, as well as to streamline the processes. This release also removes bottom-up reviews.
Removing Bottom-Up Functionality
Bottom-up performance reviews are, for the moment, being deprecated until redesigned at a later date to better function for 360 reviews.
In the Academy Workspace, under Development Admin > Performance Reviews, neither templates or profiles will provide the option.
Performing Performance Reviews
In the Team Workspace, under Performance Reviews > Team Performance Reviews, a list of individual reviews will now be shown, as opposed to cycles. As with other New Experience pages, filtering, searching, and sorting can be used to find a specific review. Filter options include cycle date, reviewee, due date, state (status), and type.
Selecting a review...
... will reveal the reviewer and reviewee, plus any co-planner associated with the review. There will also be a link to self-reviews, if applicable.
You'll be presented with the sections needing attention.
Then the review.
...with performance areas.
At the end, there will be a summary page...
...with a downloadable PDF. The PDF has been better organized in sections, and will use academy branding.
Completing the review will share the results with the employee.
My Approvals and Co-Planner Pages
Likewise, the My Approvals and Co-Planner pages are now organized by individual review, as opposed to cycle.
Sending Performance Announcements
Performance-specific announcements are now found in the Team Workspace, under Performance Reviews.
The functionality has remained intact.
Managing Reviews
The start and end calibration, when enabled, has been moved to the Manage page, beside the View buttons.
