With this release, academy administrators can determine the default visibility of each of the academy's side panels for everyone in the academy. Each individual, then, can alter their personal view.
Configuring the Default Academy Setting
Administrators can configure the default side panel visibility in the Academy Workspace > Settings > Academy > Sidebar.
The selection will automatically be saved, though a refresh may be needed to see its effect.
If there are no gadgets active in the right side panel, the panel will be automatically hidden.
Personal Settings
Each individual can choose their own preference, by simply "pinning" the left or right sidebar open or closed by selecting the sidebar's arrow.
Please Note: If individuals have already pinned their sidebars open or closed, they will not see the effect of the academy default until they have cleared their local browsers cache or utilize another browser altogether.
