This release expands the functionality surrounding notifications sent for polls that are attached to either courses or learning paths. Now admins can enable and edit all poll-related notifications — both required and, now, optional polls within courses and learning paths.
Enabling Optional Poll Notifications
Optional poll notifications need to be enabled in the academy.
The option can be found in the Academy Workspace, under Settings. In the Training section, select either Courses or Learning Paths.
Near the bottom of the list, there is a new option — Send learners a notification when an optional course / learning path poll is available. Toggle the option on, and save.
Each need to be enabled separately in their respective areas.
The Notifications
Navigate to the Academy Workspace > Notifications > Academy > Training > Courses & learning paths.
There you will find a new option, Tell us your opinion about a course or learning path. Enabling the notification will activate all course and or learning path poll notifications, based on the configuration described above.
Selecting the Edit button will reveal the available options, based on what was configured above.
Please note, some poll links included in email notification may be inactive, due to a scheduler or a mandatory order, for example.
