Events Overview Gadget

As an administrator, you may want to enhance learners’ experience within your academy by enabling the Events Overview gadget, which provides easy access to relevant events. To successfully configure and make this gadget available, please follow the steps outlined below.

Enabling the Events Overview Gadget

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.

When in the Academy Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options. 

Select Configuration and then General.

Select the preferred configuration for enabling the Events Overview Gadget, either by choosing the default configurations or defining a custom configuration.

Then, open the Choose Gadget dropdown menu and select Events Overview.

Click Add to save your selection and include the gadget in your configuration.

Please note that this gadget is available exclusively on the web application.

Once the gadget is saved, it will appear in users’ Homepage Workspace.
 

Event Overview Gadget

Available filtering options include:

  • All Upcoming Events
  • Registered Events
  • Available Events

This carousel-style gadget displays a personalized list of events available to each learner. It also provides a clear redirect to the Calendar page to view all events by selecting the Calendar option next to the gadget’s title. 

Selecting Calendar will take the user into the calendar in the Learner Workspace.

Additionally, selecting an event directs the user to the event’s details page.

Up to sixteen events are displayed in the gadget at any given time, starting with the most recent. Users can navigate through the events using the arrows. To view the full list of events, they can select the Calendar option.
